#1 New York Times bestselling author Johanna Lindsay presents a powerfully romantic Regency-era tale that is breathtaking in scope and wondrously passionate.
When Sebastian Townshend, son of the eighth Earl of Edgewood, was banished from his family due to the tragic results of a duel, he vowed never to return to England. Now living on the continent, Sebastian has forged a new identity as a deadly mercenary, The Raven. But his former neighbor, Lady Margaret Landor, has different plans for him. Back in England, Sebastian's father has had several accidents and Margaret suspects foul play and deception that reach as far back as the infamous duel. Convinced that only Sebastian can set the situation to rights, Margaret arranges a scandalous bargain with him that includes Sebastian's returning home as her husband. As the newlyweds uncover a deadly scheme, a fierce passion blossoms between them, which neither anticipated -- and neither can resist.

Editorial Reviews:

The documents thatshaped a nation.

Three of the founding fathers brilliantly defend their revolutionary charter: the Constitution of the United States, a milestone in political science and a classic of American history.

Summary: Fluff
Comment: I was very eager to read this book as it contains valuable insight on the supreme law of our land. This topic really intrigues me and I bought this book as recommended by others. I could not complete reading the book as it is so boring and filled with needless fluff from the original authors. That is a critigue apon the authors and not the current publisher. The book is well designed and serves it's purpose well. If I were to completely read The Federalist Papers, this would be the source. But, Hamilton, Madison, and Jay are in my opinion horrible writers. I have never seen so many 50+ word rambling sentences in my life. You can condense each essay into a paragraph and receive the same idea and information. It is like a college kids essay that contains 10% information, and 90% fluff in order to meet the word requirements. Just now I opened the book to a random page and counted the words in a single sentence. Are you ready? 83, yes eighty three words in a single sentence. And that was a total random page selection.

Summary: Required reading
Comment: Every American high schooler should be required to read and understand this book and the importance of our founding fathers' principals, so important, yet so misunderstood today.

Summary: The Federalist Papers
Comment: The Federalist Papers need no review. They are classics in American History and were the basis for convincing the Colonials that the Constitution was a sound structure for the new Government.
